1. Admission & Supervision Policy

At Dig N Play, the safety and enjoyment of every little builder is our priority.

• All children must be supervised by a responsible adult, 18 years or older, at all times.
• Dig N Play staff are present to assist with the operation of the venue and ensure equipment is used appropriately. They are not responsible for supervising children.
• Parents and carers remain responsible for their child’s behaviour, safety and wellbeing throughout their visit.
• Children should play within areas suitable for their age and ability.
• Management reserves the right to refuse entry or ask guests to leave if behaviour is considered unsafe or disruptive.

2. Illness Policy

Please do not attend if you or your child:

• Have experienced vomiting or diarrhoea within the previous 48 hours.
• Have a fever or are feeling generally unwell.
• Have a contagious illness, including, but not limited to, Hand, Foot & Mouth Disease, chickenpox, conjunctivitis, influenza or COVID-19.
• Have been advised by a healthcare professional to remain at home.

If a child or adult appears unwell upon arrival, management reserves the right to refuse entry.

3. Footwear Policy

• Shoes are not permitted within the play area.
• Adults entering the play area must remove their shoes.
• Dig N Play is not responsible for lost or stolen footwear or personal belongings.

4. Play Rules

• Be kind and respectful to everyone.
• Walk inside the venue.
• Use equipment only as intended.
• Take turns and share where possible.
• Follow staff directions at all times.
• Keep food and drinks within designated eating areas.
• Respect our venue, equipment and fellow little builders.

Unsafe or inappropriate behaviour may result in guests being asked to leave.

5. Food & Allergy Policy

• Food and drinks are only permitted in designated eating areas.
• Outside food is only permitted for approved party bookings.
• Birthday cakes are welcome for booked parties.
• Please advise our team if your child has a severe allergy.
• While we take reasonable steps to maintain a safe environment, Dig N Play cannot guarantee the venue is free from allergens.

6. Party Booking Policy

• Full payment is required to secure your booking.
• Cancellation of your party booking:
  • 6+ weeks before your party = full refund minus booking fee.
  • 2-6 weeks before = 50% refund minus booking fee.
  • Less than 2 weeks before = no refund.
• Party bookings may be rescheduled once if requested within 48 hours of booking, subject to availability.
• Decorations are welcomed, providing they do not damage the venue.
• Confetti, glitter, smoke machines and open flames are not permitted.
• Outside catering, food and birthday cakes are welcome.
• Once food service has commenced, guests are unable to return to the play area for hygiene and safety reasons.
• Party hosts are responsible for ensuring their guests comply with all Dig N Play policies.

7. Waiver & Assumption of Risk

By entering Dig N Play, guests acknowledge that children’s play involves inherent risks. Parents and carers accept responsibility for supervising children at all times. Equipment should only be used as intended. Any hazards or injuries should be reported to staff immediately. Participation is entirely at the guest’s own risk and subject to completion of our legal waiver.

8. Photography & Social Media Policy

• Please photograph and film your own children only.
• Respect the privacy of other families.
• Images of other children should not be shared without permission.
• Dig N Play may take photographs for promotional purposes. Consent is requested during the booking process and families may opt out.

9. Lost Property Policy

Items found within Dig N Play will be held for 30 days where practical. After this period, unclaimed items may be donated, recycled or disposed of. Dig N Play accepts no responsibility for lost, damaged or stolen personal belongings.

10. Behaviour Policy

Aggressive, abusive or unsafe behaviour will not be tolerated. Management reserves the right to refuse entry or ask guests to leave if these expectations are not met. No refund will be provided.

11. Accessibility & Inclusion Policy

At Dig N Play, we believe play is for everyone. We are committed to creating an inclusive environment where every child feels welcome. If your child has additional needs, please contact us before your visit so we can do our best to support your family.

12. Privacy Policy

We collect personal information to manage bookings and operate our business. Your information is stored securely and will not be sold to third parties. By making a booking, you consent to the collection and use of your information in accordance with this policy.

13. Cancellation, Refund & Rescheduling Policy

We understand that plans can change and little builders can sometimes become unwell. To ensure we can manage our session capacities fairly for all families:

• All bookings are final and non-refundable.
• Bookings may be rescheduled once, free of charge, provided the request is made at least 48 hours before your scheduled session.
• Requests made within 48 hours of the session are not eligible for a refund or reschedule.
• No-shows will forfeit their booking.
• Rescheduled bookings are subject to availability.
• By completing a booking, you agree to this policy.
